RED CITY

The Red Metropolis This is Kyvyi Rih, Ukraine. This was and still is the source of giant amounts of iron ore. The period of Soviet rule made use of iron ore for roads and variously sized sculptures. These are embodied in the forms of children’s playgrounds and metal amusement parks. These forms for rusty over time and were hastily painted over. However, the true color of red rust came to the fore during wet and rainy periods.
