INDUSTRY SPACE

While capturing industrial objects in my photos I saw a different world. This especially holds true for old industrial estates. These strange edifices and constructs transpired and dissolved in the play of light and shadow. These man-new objects lead the life of their own, merged into one silent dimension. Human beings follow the rhythm of emerging and dissipating in this industrial space of mystic and incomprehensible silhouettes. And the interplay of silhouettes and shadows triggers strange and mysterious feelings. For an onlooker, they have the life of their own, conveying the sense of alarm. I have been capturing images included in this project during several years, that are in effect, my impressions from getting immersed in this separate dimension.
